December 6th, 2014 Career management director of West Virginia Junior College Marla Nowlin put together her first graduation at teh United Methodist Church. 45 students walked, making this the largest graduation class at West Virginia Junior College.
Graduates Stephanie Wood and Jami Thomas say it was an amazing ceremony. To have everyone together in one place was enjoyable and bittersweet. Ashley Stinnet, the dean of WVJC says it was a wonderful event and the staff did a wonderful job. The friends and families of the graduates who attended, made the ceremony very special. This was the largest graduating class Ashley has attended while working at WVJC.
Ashley honored two students, Yolonda Bass and Heather Villian with the "Spirit of WVJC awards" for invariable contribution of this campus. Grant snow, librarian of WVJC was amazed at how beautiful and amazing the ceremony was. He says the graduation was very punctual and overall well organized.
Cindy cambell, the medical director of WVJC says this was her favorite day, it was a pleasure to have the group of man and women in her classes. She expects to heat of their accomplishments and successes as they grow in their chosen careers.
